Description
Photograph of an exterior view of the priest's residence or cloister of Mission San Gabriel, ca.1908. A low stone wall separates the exterior corridor from the paved walk in the foreground. Several wood beams hold up the shingled roof covering the corridor. Climbing vines and other plants cover part of the roof and beams. Windows and doors punctuate the light-colored wall of the cloister. The branches of a palm tree are visible at left.
