Photograph article dated November 27, 1962 partially reads, "Milady's convenience, always an important concern of automobile designers, has been further enhanced by the introduction of a mite-size purse holder by Buick. Hardly larger than most lipstick holders, the holder may be quickly fastened to any flat surface and will sustain many times its own weight. W. C. Lee, Buick's general parts and accessories manager, stated that the purse holder was the result of a survey conducted among women drivers who expressed a need for a clip that would serve as a holder for a purse, sun glasses, gloves, or other items of like nature."
