Description
Photograph caption dated May 21, 1964 reads, "The Encino Chamber of Commerce Women's Division will sponsor a 'Mardi Gras in May' ball at 8 p.m. Friday at the Woodland Hills Country Club. All set for event are actress Gale Robbins, Encino; Mrs. Lenard Sampson, Sherman Oaks, event chairman, and Barbara L. Kemp, Encino, co-chairman. Jerry Gray and his orchestra will provide music for dancing and Johnny Grant of KMPC radio will be master of ceremonies for the evening's entertainment. Other committee members are Mmes. William Jacobi, Jay Failing, James B. Potter, George Jackson, William Vepring and Velma Oberst, Women's Division president."
