Photograph of dresses made for earthquake victims at Glory Kindergarten in Kobe, Japan, [s.d.]. Three clotheslines can be seen at center, hung between two walls. Rows of intricately patterned Japanese-style dresses are hanging on the clotheslines, and more can be seen folded on the wooden floor below.
The caption on the image reads: "Glory Kindergarten, Kobe, Japan. Dresses made for earthquake children. The children gave over 90.00 Yen at Thanksgiving time -- we asked the mothers if they would spend it for cloth for dresses -- they did so -- and later came and made the dresses.
