Fletcher of San Diego (seated at left) at the conclusion of a two-day hearing on the housing shortage held in the Federal Building. Rep. Fletcher is chairman of one of a number of joint Senate-House subcommittees, which have been holding hearings in 33 communities throughout the country to obtain information on which to base Federal legislation designed to solve the housing problem.
