Photograph of a zanga, or irrigating canal in Riverside City Park, ca.1900. The narrow concrete canal runs from the foreground to the background at center. The water in the ditch is very calm and reflects the image of the plants on its banks. An assortment of trees and large bushes can be seen along the sides of the canal, including several flower bushes at left.
