Photograph caption dated September 18, 1989 reads, "Fashion accident: Danny Glover in a blue-with-gold brocade Senegalese grand boo-boo." Glover was nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Miniseries or a Special Emmy for his role as "Joshua Deets" in "Lonesome Dove." The 41st Annual Primetime Emmy Awards program was held on September 17, 1989 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
