Description
"Antreten zum Salzempfang" ("Lining up for the reception of salt"). In the right half of the picture and the background of the left half a crowd of people, each dressed with a drapery and wearing a necklace, standing in a row. Two men with light-coloured clothes and a hat are standing in front of them. In the front of the left half of the picture several other people with diverse dresses standing and looking mainly in the crowd's direction.

cf. picture no. IMP-HRN-OA-1-66SWB_17_2 -- Samuel Baudert (1879-1956), born as son of the missionary Samuel Baudert in South Africa, was mission director of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine from 1924 to 1927 and since 1929 their bishop.
