Description
Photograph of the bridge leading to an elevated green during a golf tournament at the Wilshire Country Club, 1931. At center, a man dressed in knickers bends over a putt with his back to the viewer. Farther in, men stand a watch from the small foot bridge that connects the green at center with the nearby hill to the right, where the viewers' gallery can be seen. The El Royale Apartments building (designed in 1928 by William Douglas Lee, built in 1929) can be seen in the background.
