Description
Six numbered busts of ladies displaying their Paris hats. Hat number one is a shallow crowned wide brimmed yellow straw adorned with a garland of red grapes or berries and green leaves. The woman's dress is pink with a lacy pattern with red spots and a large pink bow at the right. The collar is white with a narrow ruffle. She wears a white and gray fur stole or wrap. Woman number two wears a feathered hat with a black crown with a pale yellow pleated edging, with the main part of the hat being two symmetrical wide feather bands on each side, giving the appearance of entire wings of irridescent small feathers that look like pheasant. Only a small section of the woman's red dress is visible at the collar, with a brooch at the center. Her winter coat is dark gray astrakhan with a wide white and gray fur collar and lapels. Figure number three looks away from the viewer and wears a shallow brimmed hat of short gray fur, wound with a wrapped ivory band and trimmed with a pale feather plume. Her gown is yellow with a pale blue high collar, and she wears a gray fluffy wrap or boa. Figure four wears a pale green furred hat trimmed with a gray plume and a green scarf wrapped around. She wears yellow with a high white lace collar and a fluffy gray boa. Figure five wears a brown edged brown and gold woven hat with a narrow upstanding brim, decorated with a bunch of long black coque feathers at the back. She wears a pale blue coat with a turned up brown mink fur collar. Figure six wears a black velvet or fur hat with a turned up brim, edged and banded with white fur. The brim is split at the back into a u shape. She wears a brown mink stole or cape with a high standing white fluffy collar over a yellow dress. The dress collar is high and striped horizontally in yellow, green, and brown.
