Description
A woman in a morning visiting dress circa 1835. The woman wears a long gray-blue dress. The collar of the wrap bodice is edged with three rows of black lace ruffles. There are black ruffles below the shoulder and the lower part of the sleeves is wide and puffed. Three rows of the same lace run vertically down the dress, just to the left of the center, from the waistline to the hem. She wears yellow gloves and black shoes. She holds a small journal titled 'The Ladies Cabinet' in her right hand. She wears a pink bonnet with a pink ribbon and a large white feather in the back. She has two pink roses placed in her hair on either side of her face.
