"Fruitvale Masons Aug 22 1931 looking north Foothill Blvd." Shows parade of masons, school officials and civic leaders on Foothill Blvd. Spectators line both sides of street. Photographer in center of street -- view 2 (2008-0848). Shows partially constructed school with scaffolding still in place. Spectators entering through fence -- view 3 (2008-0849). Shows dignitary setting cornerstone -- view 4 (2008-0850). Crowd in front of building, speaker on platform, Commissioner Warren -- view 5 (2008-0851). Crowd in front of cornerstone speaker. Dedicated Aug. 22, 1931 in ceremony with masonic rites sponsored by Fruitvale Lodge of Masons. Preceded by parade of masonic bodies, school officials and civic leaders.
