The hotel was located at 3400 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles.; Barry Goldwater Jr. is a former member of the United States House of Representatives from California, serving from 1969-1983. A Republican, he is the son of Barry Goldwater, U.S. Senator from Arizona and Republican Party presidential nominee in 1964.
Photograph caption dated January 8, 1964 reads "Young Goldwater addressed nearly 2,000 persons Tuesday at Ambassador Hotel."
