Description
This is a promotional video for KickStart International, recipient of the 2008 Peter F. Drucker Award for Nonprofit Innovation. The video provides an overview of KickStart, which aims to take families in Africa out of poverty. It does this by designing low cost equipment, such as a cooking oil press, manual press for making building blocks, and the MomeyMaker Irrigation Pump, which is sold to poor local entrepreneurs to establish small businesses. The video also highlights KickStart’s marketing efforts, such as live demonstrations and pumping competitions.
