Description
Photographic portrait of the Shriners' Banquet at the Jonathan Club, 1924. Forty-six men in tuxedos, whose ages appear to be from their late twenties to early forties, pose on stage in four ascending rows. The front row is seated in chairs, while the back three rows appear to be standing on risers or blocks of some sort. A large arch is visible in the wall behind them, from which a stage curtain hangs shut. The surrounding wall is decorated with fresco cherubs.
