Description: Home of William Workman in present-day City of Industry. This 1875 photo shows the adobe on the La Puente Rancho after it had been remodeled. The center portion, now covered with a more durable material, was the original adobe, to which wings were added. Workman, pioneer Southern California businessman and banker, stands on the porch, surrounded by members of his family.
