Photograph caption dated August 3, 1961 reads "Community leaders officially dedicated the opening of the Community Clubhouse and outdoor facilities at Reseda Park, 18411 Victory Blvd., Tuesday night. Participating in the ceremonies are, from left, William Frederickson Jr., superintendent of recreation for the city of Los Angeles; Mel Pierson, Board of Recreation and Parks commissioner; Don Lorenzen, president of the West Valley Chamber of Commerce; Lila Schepler, West Valley district park director, and Ronald Ellensohn, field representative for Mayor Samuel W. Yorty."
