Title supplied by cataloger. Located at 700 S. Grand, the Brockman was built in 1917 and was also the first reinforced concrete and steel buildings in downtown. When it was built, the 12-story Brockman was also one of the tallest buildings in Los Angeles, soaring within inches of the old 150' height limit in Downtown. The architect was Harrison Albright.
