Van Nuys High's Ron Ringo, left, will carry his school's colors in the 180 low sticks and figures to gain a berth. Mike Black [pictured], center, the Reseda flash, is favored to win his first heat in the lows as well as the highs. Ivan Bennett, also of Reseda, is tabbed for spot in the highs and lows."
