Description
Engraved map on two sheets joined together, about 86 x 58. London 1712. Dedicated to Lord John Sommers in a large ornamental cartouche supported by Indians and Eskimos with his armorial bearings at the top. There are ten insets of harbor plans. California is shown as a large island of Goos type.
