Photograph of George Oki outside of Army Air Forces Communications System tent. Sign over door is 139 ACS DET 114. HQ SB II is painted on one side of stairs and T-171 is painted on other side of stairs. George Oki (Nisei), born March 9, 1927 to Magoichi and Masayo (nee Kamada) Oki in Sacramento, California. He was incarcerated at Pinedale Temporary Assembly Center and Poston II Incarceration Camp. He became a control tower operator in the Army Air Forces Communications System Unit in post-WWII occupied Japan at Itazuke Air Force Base in Kyushu, Japan.
