Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Signs supporting Upton Sinclair as the Democratic candidate for Governor are on display on an unidentified corner in Los Angeles. Both signs promote Sinclair's EPIC plan, the movement he founded to 'End Poverty in California,' based on principles from the national End Poverty, Inc. organization. The sign on the right reads, "Upton Sinclair for Governor after your daily dose of newspapers, radios, etc., read Immediate EPIC and check up on the facts. Sinclair is not an atheist he will not confiscate property and he has not repudiated the old age pensions. Californians! vote the EPIC PLAN for humanity and the future. Have courage to stir this stagnant pool. Aline Barnsdall. Vote for Sinclair."
