Seen in the upper center is the Young Apartments, located at 1621 S. Grand Avenue. This Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument was designed by Robert Brown Young, Photograph caption dated December 19, 1985 reads, "Rescue paramedics rush an accident victim to an awaiting ambulance after the pickup he was driving flipped in the air and landed upside down at Grand and 17th streets downtown. The other driver involved appeared to be uninjured."
