Photograph article dated June 17, 1957 partially reads, "A new method of cleaning swimming pools, which it is asserted, saves both time and money while greatly increasing the efficiency of the cleaning job, is announced by Jim Sheriff, vacuum cleaner dealer and manufacturer of North Hollywood. Key to the new methods is an original product, Silt-Master, about which Sheriff said. 'It cuts cleaning time in half, cleans side walls and steps of the pool and can be operated at twice the speed of the standard wheel type vacuums. This is achieved because the new product cleans in both forward and reverse directions cutting a path 22 inches wide.'" Photograph caption reads, "New device - Pretty Dorothy Freeman demonstrates the new Silt-Master swimming pool vacuum cleaning device, just placed on the market by North Hollywood manufacturers."
