Photograph of Mrs. Etta Kadish, a woman farmer of Garvanza, 1893. In the foreground at left, a woman is visible sitting on a bench under a pergola surrounded with wire mesh. A dog can be seen in her lap, and her broad hat at her side. At right, a man stands in front of her with a wheelbarrel full of squash of varying size, color and shape. On the ground are baskets full of vegetables or fruit. A house is visible in the background. The area was later named Highland Park.
