Photograph of exterior view of the General Telephone Co. building, Santa Monica, ca.1960. In the extreme foreground at right, a paved, two-lane road can be seen extending into the background at left. An automobile can be seen parked along the curb near a small sign. To the right of the road, a large parking lot filled with automobiles is visible. In the extreme background at center, a large rectangular building is visible. A rectangular section at center is larger than the other sections of the structure. On the side of the center section, the words "General Telephone" can be seen above the emblem of a telephone. Atop the center section, an American flag can be seen. Along the front of the building, a row of palm trees is visible.
