Photograph of a wide dirt ditch after flood damage, 1938. At center, a shallow trickle of water makes its way from the left edge of the image, down into the center distance. In the right foreground, a concrete sluice is cracked and smashed just before it meets the stream below. At either side, tall mud banks lead to sparsely wooded ground.
