Photograph caption dated December 14, 1957 reads, "Twirling skirts and stomping boots symbolize square dance garb is Gerald Shephard swings Mrs. Bill Howell of Las Caudrillas Club around square in left allemande step. Dance clubs and classes meet almost every night of week in Valley playgrounds and private halls."
