Description
Rushing work to make the Los Angeles Municipal Airport the safest landing place in the country, workmen are shown felling huge trees that line the eastern boundary of the field. Col. Richard B. Barnitz, Director of the Airport, and L. G. Holonbeck of the United States Bureau of Air Commerce are shown inspecting the removal of the trees.
