Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph article dated December 12, 1962 partially reads, "A search was launched in the early morning hours today for Raymond J. Hudgens, 22, after officers found a confession note at the Van Nuys home of his sister. Hudgens had been living there. The note, written in pencil, was to his sister, Carole. It read, in part: 'By the time you find this, I will be dead or taken by the police.' Dead are Hudgens' estranged wife, Grace Mary, 20, and her parents, Myron Isaac Young, 67, and his wife, Dorothy Anna, 55, formerly of 6949 Shoshone Ave., Van Nuys." Detective B. C. Anderson reads Raymond J. Hudgens' note confessing to triple murder, to clerk Charlotte Warner for official police record.
