Description
Profile of Sarah Estalee Baker, Rincon Valley-based composer, performer and instructor. She grew up with gospel, but her music life covers all kinds of music. She’s completed a PhD in music and language; composed music for string quartet; co-written a pair of musicals; studied jazz at Sonoma State; and joined a jazz fusion band with Petaluma’s Peter Welker in the 80s. She currently leads three bands, Sarah Baker & the Cake, the Sarah Baker Trio, and the Wa Girls.
