Description
History of Aviation, North Long Beach, 1940. Charles Lindbergh Middle School library, interior, 1022 East Market Street (between Atlantic and Orange avenues), North Long Beach. These nine scenes, covering three walls, are a tribute to aviator Charles Lindbergh. Oil on canvas, 9 panels, 5' x 132', designed by Arthur Ames and Jean Goodwin Ames, and executed by Serena Swanson, Dorr Bothwell, Elizabeth Mills, Mary Stanfield.
