Description
Newspaper clipping of an investment advertisement for Liberty Iron Works, "What Will Be Your Share of this $18,000,000? If the $18,000,000 that is being expended by Uncle Sam in Airplanes - to be built by The Liberty Iron Works in North Sacramento - was equally divided among the 75,000 inhabitants of Sacramento, what would be your share? Naturally this $18,000,000 is not going to be so distributed but its stimulating influence will be felt by every person in this city and every man or woman who grasps the golden opportunity that lies at the very door of this great expenditure will profit greater than if it was so divided. The Liberty Iron Works will be a permanent going concern. The possibilities for its manufacture of tractors, gas engines and farm implements in general are unlimited. The effect of this mammoth industry upon North Sacramento is obvious. Its growth - considered remarkable in the past - will be phenomenal in the future. 10,000 people in less than 2 years is a conservative prophecy. Land values near the Liberty Iron Works will double and triple in value. Lots close to the Liberty Iron Works have already increased in value and are rising every day. But - you can still buy a big 50-ft. lot within one block of this plant for the wonderfully low price of $500 - the subdivider's original price - and for as little as $10 monthly. There has been no raise in price yet - but an early increase is inevitable. A certain and substantial profit awaits every investor in one of these lots. But you must be prompt. Your opportunity is slipping by you with each day's delay. Act Tomorrow. Ride out to North Sacramento. Take the 5-cent electric car at 8th and J Streets that does within three blocks of the Liberty Iron Works - or jitney at Post Office every half hour - or phone M 568 any time during the week and we will be glad to take you there in one of our autos. Agent at tract office Sunday where car line crosses 12 Street road. We take Liberty Bonds in part or full payment. If there is a balance due, we will assume it. If the face value of your bond is greater than the amount of your purchase, we will give you the balance in cash. Out-of-Town Residents - Write for Map, Photos and Price."
