Photograph caption dated May 29, 1936 reads, "Margaret Fillmore (left), sister of Mary Miles Minter, is shown as the hearing conducted on her sanity in the psychopathic court of the General Hospital today. Mrs. Fillmore was taken to the hospital on a warrant signed by her mother, Mrs. Charlotte Shelby. Seated, left to right around the table, Mrs. Fillmore, Virginia Glenn, parole officer; Winifred Gurney, court report; Mrs. Shelby, Dr. E.H. Steele, Judge Georgia Bullock and Dr. E.H. Williams. Mrs. Fillmore is fighting her mother's charge that she is habitually intoxicated."
