Photograph was edited for publication purposes Caption dated April 5, 1965 reads, "North Hollywood division police supervised the recovery of this car from the Los Angeles River wash between Magnolia and Chandler Boulevards Saturday. The vehicle had rolled down the embankment from a parked position after failure of its braking system. Two teen-agers who had been riding in the car were nearby watching the swirling river floodwaters."
