Full-length portrait.
Born in Blue Island, Ill. about 1843 to Joseph Robinson. Came to California about 1846 or 1847 with family. Married Charles H. Getzler in 1862 or 1863 in Portland, Oregon. Known as the "Fairy Star," was child actress during the Gold Rush, traveling thru the State with her father, brother and the Chapman family; worked with Lotta Crabtree in the mining camp of Rabbit Creek near La Porte, Plumas County. Well known as comedienne, burlesque and dramatic actress. Died in 1871 in Sacramento.
