Photograph caption dated June 6, 1955 reads "Tony Beller, 17, North Hollywood High School senior, is one of four winners in recent Mother's Day Essay contest, sponsored by North Hollywood Retail Merchants Committee. From left are Mrs. Mae Miller, chairman of Mother's Day Committee; Mrs. J. C. Beller and Tony. Other winners were Mary Ann Farmer, Susie Prod and Carl Dorn. Each winner gets plaque and each mother gets red carnation bouquet."
