Description: A group poses in the car at the bottom of the Incline below Echo Mountain. In the upper left corner of the group is Professor T.S.C. Lowe, the founder of the Mount Lowe project and the Mount Lowe Railway. In 1892, Oak Mountain, a 6,100 foot peak behind Echo Mountain, was renamed Mount Lowe in his honor.
