Description: The Sacramento Public Library Traveling Branch, decorated for the Reading Round the World summer reading program, takes part in the North Highlands Moonwalk Parade. The North Highlands Chamber of Commerce hosted an annual Moonwalk Parade from July of 1970 until 1984 to commemorate the 1969 moon landing. During its lifetime, the Moonwalk Parade hosted guests ranging from actual astronauts to George Takei.
