Photograph article dated May 29, 1961 partially reads "Several San Fernando Valley track and field athletes have one more 'stop' before they bring the curtain down on the 1961 campaign. Headed by Van Nuys High's Paul Turnquist and John Burroughs Ralph Turner eight Valley athletes will be seen in the state high school finals Saturday at East Los Angeles City College." Pictured is Ralph Turner. Photograph also used in article dated February 16, 1962.
