Description
This architectural drawing of the west and south exterior elevations of Storke Tower and parts of the lower plaza. Partially funded by Santa Barbara News Press founder Thomas M. Storke, this is the tallest structure on campus, at 175 feet tall, and is the tallest steel/cement structure in Santa Barbara County. The Brutalist building also houses a 61 bell carillion, which chimes every hour. The base of the tower houses the offices of the radio station and the yearbook.
