Michael Mewshaw discusses his autobiography, “If You Could See Me Now.” He begins by explaining that he had a girlfriend in college who put her daughter up for adoption, and the girl found him later in life looking for her mother. The daughter found information about her parents and was looking for medical history. He talks about how she had contacted her biological father with whom she started having a good relationship with. He says that the girl’s mother completely scorned her daughter and wanted nothing to do with her. He ends the interview by talking about how family dynamics and secrets can be well kept for many years.
