Mayan men in colorful clothing and hats wait in a long line to vote on March 7, 1982. Behind them stands a wooden structure with straw roofing. Groups of Mayan men started lining up to vote at five in the morning. They were told that they would be killed if they did not vote. Hombres mayas en vestimenta colorida y sombreros esperan en una larga fila para votar el 7 de marzo de 1982. Detrás de ellos se observa una estructura de madera y techo de paja. Grupos de hombres mayas comenzaron a formar fila a las cinco de la mañana. Les dijeron que serían asesinados si no votaban.
