Photograph of an exterior view of the Mission San Fernando Rey de España from the east end, taken by photographer Edward Vischer, before 1875. The archways of the portico are visible at center, maintaining much of the spackle over their adobe walls. A doorway can be seen in the shadows underneath the terracotta-tiled roof. To the right, a small passageway has been made out of unspackled adobe bricks, next to which a small bell hangs.
