The extensive portfolio of photographic artist Carol Westwood (1942-2011), a native New Yorker who lived in Los Angeles for many years, includes a diverse array of subjects: animals, nudes, American and European cities, and portraits. Additionally, she worked on special and still photography for numerous motion picture and television productions in Hollywood; the archive of her entertainment and celebrity images was distributed internationally by Gamma, Liaison International, Stone Images, and Getty images from 1988-2003. Storefront of the Cora Galenti Face Creams and Lotions, a former salon located at 7152 Sunset Boulevard close to La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles. Adjacent to the Cora Galenti Face Creams in the same building is the Shy Boy Energy Store. This Italian style building was replaced with a new structure for the Will & Ariel Durant Branch of Los Angeles Public Library, built in the mid-2000s.
