Description
A policeman is stopped next to a California Loan Office coupe automobile and appears to be giving the driver a citation. The policeman's motorcycle is parked next to the car. Boitano Bros. Billiards and Lunches is located behind the car. Featured in the "City with a Past" exhibit with this caption: South Market between Post and San Fernando looking north, c. 1940. The car being ticketed is in front of the Liberty Theatre, a burlesque house during World War II.
