Description
Photograph caption dated July 5, 1962 reads "Miss Reta McCurdy raises the American flag on the porch of her North Hollywood home in honor of Independence Day. Today is Miss McCurdy's first Fourth of July as an American citizen. A Canadian by birth, she was naturalized last week in Federal Court in Los Angeles. Miss McCurdy, a Valley resident for four years, is a bookkeeper."
