On January 1950, just a month after her divorce from first husband, John Agar Jr., Shirley Temple met WWII Navy Silver Star hero Charles Alden Black, and the two married on December 16, 1950.
Photograph caption dated August 11, 1954 reads, "Shirley Temple was only 11 years old when she saw first premiere of "Gone With the Wind," 15 years ago. She is shown arriving with husband, Charles Black, for second premiere last night at the Egyptian Theatre. "I know I will enjoy and understand it a little better," she said."
