Street view looking west down Post from 2nd. Omnibus Railroad Co. horsecar on Market Street at left. Numerous signs on buildings advertusung carpets and furniture, ticket office, painter, printing, cigars; Masonic Temple in center. Text under photo: "Junction of Market, Post and Montgomery Streets. Looking west on Post Street. 1st Congregational Church, Post and Mason on left. Note the rickety car tracks and cobble stone pavement. 1881."
