Photograph article dated May 23, 1949 partially reads, "Dedication ceremonies for the new San Fernando First Baptist Church are set for Sunday at 3 p.m. Dr. Frank Kepner, executive secretary of Southern California Baptist convention, will give the dedicatory address. Dr. J. Harvey Deere, former pastor in San Fernando for many years, will also give a brief talk. Gold Star Mothers of San Fernando Valley choir will sing, as will the First Baptist Church choir. Rev. Charles W. Goe, new pastor of the church, will officiate. The program will be broadcast over KGIL." The church is located at 215 MacNeil St., in San Fernando.
